Arrived in Santa Monica (AKA: MARS for someone from Boulder, CO). Found my way around just fine. I’m staying right on Ocean Blvd in Santa Monica, across from the Pier. You really can’t miss that landmark.

I decided to run down to Venice to find the Studio. It was about a 15 minute jog. Along the way, I priced our bikes to rent for the week. I scored a pink and white “cruiser” 7-speed bike for $60 for the week. What a bargain. Found the grocery store, bananas, oranges, and apples for breakfast should do just fine. I’m well prepared for the week…so I think…
