OmStream.com officially announces its launch.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB via PR Web Direct) October 4, 2005 — OmStream.com, the music download store dedicated to offering holistic, world and yoga music to help listeners on their search for consciousness, opened on August 29, 2005 and is located at www.omstream.com.

“OmStream.com was created out of a need to locate and purchase music that elevates consciousness amid the clutter of almost a million songs available on iTunes and the other download services. We wanted a place where world music can take center stage. We built the site to easily find music specific to your moods,” stated Michael Perricone, founder of OmStream.com. We’re constantly refining the process to give the listener the best experience possible while on our site. Over the course of the next few months we’ll be rolling out exciting community features, making it as much a portal as a music store.

Responding to the listeners in this niche, OmStream offers per-song prices that vary depending on length. Songs under 6 minutes are $.99, while longer songs are $1.59 and up, again depending on their length. Full album downloads are $9.99. OmStream.com is a great place to download music of a higher vibration for your computer, mp3 player, mobile phone or iPod. The OmStream team picks each piece of world music and each artist based on their authenticity and how they fit into a holistic lifestyle. Featuring music to accompany a contemplative yoga practice, to motivate you to power through your daily workout, to help with relaxation for a massage, or just something to shift gears after battling the distractions of the world.

OmStream is adding more music all the time, like the latest release from Krishna Das “All One” to go along with such artists as Donna DeLory and Dave Stringer. OmStream is also launching a link share program and offering special discounts on selected albums.

For additional information on OmStream.com, please visit the website at www.omstream.com, or contact Michael Perricone at 310.230.1596.

King Dancer - Natarajasana Is the Yoga Pose of the Week

I learned a cool transition last week: king dancer to sugarcane pose. Basically, you just tip forward in king dancer until your hand reaches the floor, et voila, you're in sugarcane. For extra credit, try coming back up.
