Nurture’s Path Healing Arts, an integrative wellness center based in the heart of Manhattan, launched their “Lunchtime Yoga” classes in late summer to target busy professionals who could benefit from a mid-day decompression session. The result? Locals flock to the center to enjoy the afternoon classes.“It’s the perfect timing for me,” one yoga practitioner remarked, “My evenings are too full and hectic, but a class during lunchtime makes use of time I would otherwise spend doing less productive activities.” In case you’re wondering, aspiring yogis are advised to eat lunch after their one-hour classes rather than before. Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach.Now the center has successfully embarked upon a new frontier: Spanish Yoga.
